Feral hogs are under the jurisdiction of the Nevada Department of Agriculture. They are not considered wildlife per se. They are classified as feral (wild) and estray (released from captivity); therefore they are under the authority of the Brand Inspectors.

That's why they're not listed on the NDOW site. I just sent an email to the Dept. of Agriculture. So we should have an answer shortly.
