Forget about the 12 steps program (too long). Here is my 2-steps program.

1. Quit cold turkey. That’s it, no if and or but.

2. If something is rare AND cheap (rare and cheap usually do not appear in the same sentence) and if I purchase it, I must sell something to offset for the value.

Mark my words, I am going to be adhering to the above 2-steps program as of NOW.

Sell something? Well this program just isn't for me

Sold 2x Spikes Tactical snowflake lower receivers. I am on the roll to cure my impulse buying addiction. Just need to sell stuffs and save the money for a “rainy” day.

Must resist........

Actually, I sold a Sig P220 last month along with everything associated to it (including ammo).

Savage 39a = Nope.
Kel Tec = nope.

More selling on the horizon (too lazy now).

I think I'm getting better! Went in to the local gun shop and looked at a Walther PPQ (Loved it), Springfield XDS (Loved it) and a Glock 43 (Liked it) but only walked away with a couple of accessories. That is, right after submitting prints on a Silencer shop Kiosk :ROFLMAO:

Good for you!! I can't say I've been steady on the wagon, but I did promise myself that I would not purchase any "new" firearms until I finish up the projects that I already have. I've decided to focus and build the firearms that I intend to SBR. Other than that I have purchased ammo for upcoming shooting classes. These purchases don't count as far as firearms addiction goes, do they????!?!?!

Feeling really good right now. I think I am way ahead of the curve, no longer interested in just buying anything. Sold a few more accessories to friends (not high dollar stuffs, more like pocket change). How's everyone doing?

Not doing too good. But I think things are about to turn around

... purchasing more firearms. Picked up a Glock 34 MOS from NFA on the way home from work today. After a very long drive from NFA to the M-Casino, I had many thoughts of what else (firearms) do I need or want and came to the conclusion (or feeling) that I am pretty set for a long time (in regard to firearms). Let see how long can I stay clean this time (beside picking up the "few" NFA MS lowers group buy when available).

So tell me, anyone of you is or was in the same boat or it's never enough?

There's an easy formula to determine how many guns you need. Here is the formula:
The number of guns you have now + one more= the number of guns you need.

As long as you keep this formula in mind youre good to go.

And it's much appreciated!

With the Kahr funds (took a big hit) I was able to procure a Colt Nevada Centennial Scout for the boy. That makes 2 - one for each kid. Thank you.

Trying to cure my sickness by over saturating my eyes looking at lots of great deals and at the same time holding back the temptation. Don't know how long I can hold out but I am still on the wagon with my current plan.

last thing was almost 2 years ago, well 19 months! that's pretty good. and that was FREE!!!! used all my remaining points as bass pro.

titan, this one is "free" too, on a cash back card. i'll transfer them to the balance to cover, so offsetting penalties. :)

I need to cash mine out. This is sad when most of the purchases on this card were made at Amazon! I guess I spend too much there too!
