in vehicle security

#3
I know criminals who are transporting illegal items have been using traps for a long time. A trap is basically a hidden compartment built to look like part of the vehicle.

I've been wondering for awhile if they're legal in Nevada and some other states for someone who's not using them for illegal purposes.
I believe California outlawed them completely.

I've always thought they could be beneficial for law abiding citizens anytime you need to leave something in your vehicle. Especially when traveling on vacation and you don't want to keep all of your cash on you.
Or the inevitable moment your better half brings more jewelry than she can wear with every outfit.

I still need to look into this.
