Is it possible to come in and browse in person, or do we have to place order online first? I can't find your pickup address on the site anywhere. Just trying to find out how far you guys are from me.

They are in Pahrump if that helps.

They don't have a store front. Ammo is ammo. I just picked up a case of 9mm and .38 special. If you can manage the roughly 3 hour drive round trip, it isn't bad. Besides there are some FFLs in Pahrump who are sponsors here. I believe in spreading business around.

I am going to be a bit gratuitous here. I'm going to probably be making regular runs up there at least every other month when I am here since I enjoy teaching and taking people to the firing line. If anyone is interested in doing a bulk buy with me pm me.

My terms are as follows;
  • A few bucks towards my fuel cost.
  • A deposit if I do not know you or if it's a caliber I do not own and most likely never will own.
  • A cash reimbursement upon delivery. I will pay for the ammo myself with one of my credit cards.
  • Standard disclaimer applies of all ammo transactions being final.

Why am I considering this?
  • I like driving, I held a CDL prior to my spine surgery and use to drive for a living back in my early 20s till I turned 30 and quite frankly miss it. I can't pass a DOT physical anymore because of the complications of my surgery.
  • I get rewards on my credit cards for purchasing it for you.
  • To help with my fuel costs.

Want to meet me? I frequent the Range702 during the early bird and local specials on Mon through Wed. Look for the dirty blonde haired guy with anterior and posterior neck surgical neck scars from major spine surgery typically wearing all black.

If you need a reference, I just bought 1000 rounds of .380 ACP from another user here. The transaction went smoothly. I have no reservations about doing business with him again.

I also will be at the Vegas MoneyShow at Caesars next week as I dabble in stock trading. I attend it every year. It's always right after Mother's Day.

I would love to give a NV business my money but the sales tax and shipping is what kills the deal for me. Wish they were in Vegas, then I would at least save on the shipping and could deal with just having to pay the sales tax.

yeah, sorry guys. we don't control the sales tax or the shipping. it sucks. i know. i hope you are all aware of the Margin Tax that Nevada is trying to implement. that will make prices go up for all of us. That and the internet sales tax, will kill us all.

The sales tax rate is less in Nye County. I'd rather give Nye County my sales tax revenue than Clark anyway. It's not a bad way to spend an afternoon. Drive up there, pick up the order, have lunch then drive back.

If you go during sales they have better deals than here locally that I have found.

However, be forewarned. A gas station nearby there apparently had at least one of their pumps tampered with a credit card stripe reader. I have filed a report with the Nye County Sheriffs Office via e-mail. Sgt. Jackson of the NCSO is assigned the case. I don't know if this is a common issue in Nye County or not.

Chase caught the fraud immediately and stopped the card on Monday, May 12, 2014 before I even got up in the morning to go to the MoneyShow at Caesar's. They issued me a new card with a new account number.

I also want to clarify that Ammo Supply Warehouse had nothing to do with this. They are a reputable business. As long as they keep up their aggressive pricing they will continue to get my business. Credit card fraud unfortunately happens. I also paid for my ammo order with a different card.

I didn't hear about the tampering/fraud. What station was it?

The station where I suspect it happened is;

Horizon Market 3
961 S Linda
Pahrump NV 89048

The gas prices were the cheapest I saw while I was there so I decided to feed my Jeep before having lunch myself. I doubt the credit card incident involved the casino I had lunch at later in the day. I've lived in the south eastern Vegas/Henderson area for about 22 years now. I have never had a local incident of credit card fraud.
