I found out how ridiculous after picking up a 380. Price and demand I guess. Good thing I reload. $15 a box at Sportsmans and nonreloadable a little cheaper but it mostly runs close to $20 a box/50.

Economics of scale. 9mm is likely the most widely used handgun caliber in the world — if not right up there at 2nd or 3rd. As such it’s in great demand and there is great supply. That’s how you get 9mm costing less than $10 per 50rds.

I was at Dick's sporting goods in the Galleria Mall the other day and their store brand "Field and Stream" .380 was $12.99 a box if I recall correctly.

Never shot it, but looks like basic brass cased range quality stuff.
