For your consideration I have a 1945 Remington Rand M1911 A1 .45 caliber pistol. This particular WWII model was hand picked and refinished by armorers at Camp Perry in Ohio for National Match competition sometime in the late 50s to early 60s. The slide and frame were refinished by hand, a National Match serialized barrel & bushing were fitted to the slide, along with a serrated blade front sight and adjustable rear notch sight. The front of the grip has period correct stippling, and the entire frame & slide were blued for a beautiful glossy finish. This is an extremely tight fitting pistol and runs like butter.
I’m asking $1700 for this piece of military and competition history. Included are 3x new magazines, another set of period wood grips, and a padded box for storage.
If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.
Thank you for your consideration and oogling.
