I've had R6520 for about 25 years.. Other than being a GC14XXX serial number , not marked military/LE only ,I don't know a lot about its value.. It's unmolested ,a pre ban (for what's that worth)..I've searched a lot for a comparable sale ,on the usual sites..Can't find anything.. Any help tracking down sales or more info would be appreciated. It's time for it to go to someone who will use it

I saw this bluebook valuation on another forum if that helps you out. (https://www.ar15.com/forums/ar-15/Fair_price_for_a_pre_ban_Colt_govandapos_t_carbine____/118-265513/)

BUT the post is from 2006 so I don't think these values are accurate in 2021.

Colt AR-15 A2 Gov't Carbine (R6520)
Mfg. 1988-1994
This model was manufactured in both green and blue label configurations.
1994 MSRP was $880.

Grading

100% - $1,900
90% - $1,500
80% - $1,375
70% - $1,250
60% - $1,050

Add $200 for green label box.

There is a LE rollmark one for auction on gunbroker right now (https://www.gunbroker.com/item/912089824)

Thanks to you both, really appreciate it.. I'm assuming green label box is having the green label box ,not just being in the box when new? Look for it on here in a few weeks or less...

I saw that.. I didn't know they came with a 4 position stock ,and what unmarked did to value.I've looked off and on and couldn't ever find a resale of a GC with <18500 serial number ,unmarked...I saw a NIB expired listing on GB last month for $2,500 but didn't sell.

Be gentle on the starting price, haha.
someone just posted this on Gun Broker It's a few hundred higher the serial number from mine
https://www.gunbroker.com/item/912996061
BIN price is 3,700 ?!? That's crazy.
The unit Dumontcowboy posted sold for $1,925 just for the gun ,no extras ..With the 700+ rounds, magazines, case ,etc I think my number is super cheap. I'll probably just keep it if I can't get 1,800 for it
