So everything I have looked up has said that a 4 piece flash hider on a 16" barrel is bad due to over gassing issues since the flash hider is also a booster. My question is if I get a KNS adjustable gas piston would that alieviate the over gassing problem? I also might consider cutting the barrel and pin/weld the flash hider. I want the front sight up against the gas block as opposed to a gas block front sight combo. See pictures for the general idea of what I'm going for.
