The pistol above is actually a Norton TP-70, originally called the "Budischowsky 25 Automatic"
A very well made little 25. This one came in the original box and was difficult to operate as the original grease had turned to hardened glue.
I had to soak it in solvent to even get it apart.
Probably one of the best 25 ACP automatic pistols ever designed.

Yes the Jetfire came in 22lr and 25 ACP. Has a unique tip-up barrel to load single cartridges. The Jetfire is a well-made little auto as well.
The Beretta Tomcat in 32 ACP is not well made. Notorious for cracked frames.

Where did you find it? It always amazes me where things pop up. I was getting a blue card once and someone was getting rid of a 10/22 carbine from the 70s. I think it leaned in a closet for 25 years. The muzzle had corrosion from all the dust settling on it, but otherwise OK. $40 and the cost of a magazine got a nice little rifle.

Wow.....that happens a lot. A father dies and leaves his prized gun collection to his children.....who don't want it due to Marxist indoctrination at schools and universities.
Very sad indeed.

Yeah, that happens to almost everyone. Not just with guns, but any collection.
We started Red Rock to help some of those people not give everything away. (The wife who didn't partake in shooting...).

Was working at a different shop when a "Kid" came in Dad shot a ton and he didn't. Wanted to sell everything to put towards a guitar.
Comes across super strange/sad to us, but then again if our parents were huge into decorative plates or match books, we would probably look to get rid of them quick too.

The exact dollar amounts remind me of night driving to pick up friends from worker in Tijuana. and A little police side hustle…

$40 for a Ruger 10/22 is a steal. You did well 👍

They might have taken $20. Somebody had died and they were clearing out the house. They were going to turn in the icky gun to the cops.
