.357 SIG...Just ordered a Bar-Sto conversion to 9mm. Hope it will not need to be fitted, but just in case, do you know of a good gunsmith?
Did you get the semi fit barrel? The one I got for a M&P dropped right in but the minor fitting seems pretty easy if you want to try it. Some good videos on it. Otherwise I only use NFA for minor gunsmithing. Mac has used Wild West Guns for more detailed work with good success.

Yup, ordered semi-fit. I am nervous about taking off too much material, so I am hoping it will drop in. Thanks for the references.

Just back from a 4 day handgun class, before which I ran about 200 rounds. Been rode hard and put away wet this past week with about 700 rounds down the pipe.

How did she do? Run good?

Between the 200 rounds I ran before the class and the 500 or so I ran there, I had 3 malfunctions. One stovepipe when I fired the gun sans magazine which is something I intend to investigate further. Had to make a head shot mid tactical reload and took the shot before inserting the mag. Never done that before so I dont know if it will happen again, if it was the gun, or if it was me.

Then 2 failures for the gun to enter battery. Not sure what caused the first one as I went to tap rack flip as soon as I tapped the slide seated and I was good. The second time was an ammo issue. Using armscorp, the projectile was seated so off center that one side of the case was bulging out and it literally didn't fit in the chamber. I had to try to clear it twice to get the slide unstuck. Upon closer inspection a lot of the Armscor ammo had cases where it looked like the projectile was way larger than the case or it was just seated off center. So maybe that first one was ammo related too.

Anyway, 3 malfunctions in 700 rounds is livable for me. I know its not a Glock but yeah.

It sounds like only 1 was gun related. If the frame to slide fit is tight failure to go into battery could be a lube or grime buildup issue. Sounds like it did well!

Yeah. I went in to buy a 320C but this and the X5 were there. I kept going back and forth and this one won. They didn't have the 320 X5 or the RX when I was there last week just the regular 320.

I am trying out a flat Grayguns trigger on my P226. I can get good leverage for the DA pull. I am a fan of the flat on my rifles too.
