Take them to The Gun Butler. Among his specialties is installing (including milling if necessary) RDOs on pistols. He knows how to apply heat to just the screws to remove Loc-Tite if someone used the wrong stuff.

#1 make sure you have a quality bit that fits those screw heads. Someone may have used too much locktite. Those screws are only tightened in inch pounds.
Cheap optics tend to use cheap screws, which can lead to stripped screwheads or snapped screws.

Why would you want to make the holes wider ? There are different screw hole patterns for different optics.

When it comes to mounting a red dot on a slide that reciprocates, you either do it right, or soon become a pirate.

Because for the wider holes for the site it doesn’t fit my fn509

Are you sure it is even the same screw hole pattern ? They do make adapter plates. You also need the correct diameter and length screws, as well as the correct head to match the optic. Some optics use countersunk screws, some don't. If you end up needing new screws, McFadden dale, or ace hardware.
What brand optic is on there now?

Sometimes you can enlarge holes thru an optic, Sometimes you can't. It won't matter if the center to center spacing isn't the same.
