Just putting out a feeler to see if anyone has a good sized gun safe that they want to sell that is in good condition. Looking for something that holds around 30 guns or more rifles/handguns. Probably something that’s not so heavy that it needs to be professionally moved. I’ve seen a few that I’ve considered getting that are very heavy but I’m probably in my current home for another year and don’t really want to have to have it professionally moved again in a year. I know the lighter ones are not necessarily the best quality but it’s just temporary until I know I’m not going to move for quite some time. Trying to stay at $1k and under price wise. Thanks.

Check out the sporting goods stores, I picked up a 23 gun on sale from sportsman’s. Durning the holidays.
yeah I’ve been checking out sportsman’s. They had a nice liberty 30 gun safe on sale week before last. I went on Sunday and sale was over lol. Hopefully they have some good 4th of July sales.

Ask them, same thing happened to me. It was during Christmas/new year and they honored the sale.

Thanks. I’ll do that. Plan on stopping by tomorrow. It’s a good size but seems moveable with two people and a dolly. I was looking at a couple that I really liked from Nevada safes but the price to be professionally moved adds up.

Check out tractor supply. I got my Winchester there on sale. Don’t focus on the brand name, look at how it locks, the thickness of the steel, and the timed fire and degree rating. I’m very happy with mine.

I was at tractor supply last weekend. I really liked the Winchester they have for $649 but need a little more capacity. I was tempted by there Canon that they have but too heavy.

There is a scratch and dent gun safe retailer in Vegas. He offers some pretty good discounts. Let me see if I can find the link.

Man safes have gone through the roof!! When COVID just started and hit, I picked up a Liberty that holds 40-46 guns for $1800 bucks and was at sportsman’s yesterday and they had the same one right as I walked in the door for $2499.99. Same exact safe. I was shocked because I have already filled my safe I got a year ago and need 2 more, one for my ammo and another one for more guns next to the one I have now. There is a Liberty safe store off Sahara and another one off Sunset, or there used to be at least.

Yes the prices have gone up quite a bit. Can’t really blame them with steel and fuel prices though.

It is ok to post it here.

Picked up three safes in January from the Safekeeper. Two new and one used. I hope I will need to get another one soon and another one for myself.

Anyone have any experience or know if this safe is any good?

Still heavier than the Liberty ones I was looking at but at the price point I figured if I move and don’t want to hassle with taking it I can sell it and not lose my ass. Ultimately I would like to get a nicer safe but being in a rental currently I know I won’t want to hassle with it if I move, especially since I already have gym equipment that is a pain in the ass to move.

I'm a big fan of SecureIt's solutions to gun storage. I have an Agile 52, and I'm trying to decide between an Agile 40 or a second Agile 52 to go with it.

https://www.secureitgunstorage.com/

They have a decent sale going on for the holiday.
What’s the capacity like on something like that? I looked at those but they seem like they don’t hold a lot unless you have a few of them or a really large one

The Agile can be configured to hold up to six, but that's with optics mounted and magazines loaded. The Answers can be configured to hold up to eight, or up to twelve. Holding thirty long guns is going to require a few of them, as you pointed out.
