So is there an off-road club that most Nevada Shooters are part of?

I've got a Jeep that I'm slowly working on in my garage, but not many people I know enjoy off-roading.

I'm just looking for like minded people, who are laid back and aren't going to freak if I bring a couple guns on the trail.

i think depending on your vehicle there will be a club. i run with clubfrontiers.org which is mainly nissan frontiers. the guys i run with all own guns and dont freak out at firearms.

maybe try out http://www.wranglerforum.com/f56/

alot of jeepers that use their jeeps for tarails are outdoorsmen and are ok with guns. its the ones that are pristine 10k into them and the most off roading they see is when they are texting and hit the shoulder of the road that are possibly anti.

ClubFrontiers/Silver State Nissans are always cool with other vehicles tagging along. Were all gun guys also. I will try to remember to post on here or PM when were planning something. We have so many areas to post that I always forget about here.

This is my daily driver, but it gets dirty too. With the 5.9L V8 and limited slip in the rear it does well. I know I have better pics, but can't find them right now.

Had to order a one piece front clip the aftermarket fenders with a 4" bulge are still limiting the up travel.

We are doing a trail to the Pioneer Saloon tomorrow the 8th. We meet at the Chevron on 160 (Blue Diamond) and 159 (Red Rock Canyon Rd.) At 9am. 4x is prefered but a 2x with the right tires and power can do it. It is all easy trail to the Saloon and then we usually get silly and drive up the hill next to the saloon.

from a little meetup we had out in Bodie CA 2 weeks ago.

Big Virginia Lake, Mono county, CA. About 10,000' elevation.

common sight when one or more FSJ's get together....this was me mcguyvering a broken alternator bracket using a butter knife, zip ties, and hose clamps.

seems legit. got me home, 120 miles, without issue.

There were probably 50-100 offroad vehicles, many of them custom rock crawlers out in the Logandale Trails last weekend. This weekend they have the OHV Roundup out there which should be an even bigger event.
