I title this half jokingly. I was in the market for a new (to me) purchase of a vehicle for weekend fun, since I gave up motorcycles due to too many close calls at the hands of cagers.

Was browsing classics, muscle, etc. then came across a great deal on a charger hellcat, I guess modern muscle if you will. Picked it up, $30,000 down financed the other $35,000, 10,899 miles. Not the redeye with 800hp just the charger hellcat widebody with 707.

Really wanted an old nova or 442 to work on here and there but thinking about it, time on the weekends is still somewhat limited for another 5-10 years when I decide to retire, so this should hold me over. The wife and wiener dog have already tried to take the car over, battle I’m willing to fight 🤣

Anyway, figured I’d share. Sometimes it’s worth saving a bit, would have preferred to pay in cash but the deal (private party) was too good to pass up given the prices they’re going for at stealerships even used. Paid a mechanic $400 to give it a 4x over and besides the tires due for a rotation and balance, checked out.

Somebody here has a 2024 Z06 Corvette. At the least a $100,000 car.

Super easy to steal OP.... so, make sure insurance is up on it AND look at an airtag or GPS system if you can. Ram has been installing them automatically on quite a few anyways.
