WTS 2008 Buell Lightning XB12S

Up for sale is my 2008 Buell Lightning XB12S. Started its life as an XB12Scg, but traded suspension and pegs with another owner who was looking to drop suspension for his wife, where I was looking for better cornering performance. Has been sitting covered in my garage for the last five years (thanks to 2 children being born). The bike ran prior to being stored, with fuel stabilizer added and an oil change completed prior to storage. Battery tender had become unplugged at some point, and the battery is now dead. Had taken off all the plastics to repaint them, but that project was never completed (most of them have been sanded). Comes with:

• Jardine exhaust
• Tuned standard ECM (installed), and extra Buell Factory RACE ECM "tuned" for the Jardine exhaust
• Zero Gravity ST series windscreen
• Apex clip-ons handlebars
• Energy One performance clutch kit
• Buelltooth attachment for tuning
• Completed airbox mod
• CRG bar end mirrors
• Koso led turn signals
• Tail lift spacers (since removed)
• Rear fender delete and license plate bracket
• Buell OEM accessory tail bag

Clean title in hand, but hasn't been registered these past 5 years while garaged and partially disassembled, and new owner responsible for all associated fees. Would make for a great parts bike if you didn't want to deal with that. Selling as-is, asking $3500 $3000 or best reasonable offer. Will include a 2" hitch mounted motorcycle carrier if bought at asking, otherwise will need to be picked up in Reno with a truck or trailer, or will deliver within ~100 miles if fuel and time are covered.
