At the risk of being shamed by my fellow forum members, I’m willing to sell some of my personal ammo stash for some of the crazy prices I’m seeing on ammoseek.com and the like. I don’t think you should pay this much for ammo as I think prices will come back down. That being said, I’m not willing to sell it for less than I would have to pay to replace it. With ammo going for crazy prices, if you NEED it, I have some.
For 9mm, I’m selling it at $.80 per round for a total of $560 (must buy all 700 rounds at once), I have (all brass cased):
Winchester 115 gr. FMJ (200 rounds)-200 rounds remaining;
Federal 115 gr. FMJ (4 x 250 round packs)-2 boxes (500 rounds) remaining
For .45 ACP, I have a Blazer Brass Black Pack of 230 gr. FMJ. I will sell the full box for $300.
I didn’t buy ammo with the intention of reselling, but ammo sales have gone crazy. I couldn’t find 12 ga anywhere, this weekend. I know some of you are disgusted by members selling Ammo for more than what they paid for it. I don’t get that. If you think the price is too high, don’t buy it. If you think everyone should sell items for what they paid for it, I’d like to buy your old Colt Python or the Apple stock you bought in the 80s.
If it sells, I guaranty I will reinvest the funds in the firearm community (I’ll buy a new gun while I can). ? If it doesn’t sell, I’m okay with that, too. I bought it to shoot it.
I live in the southwest part of town and work in Green Valley. We can meet somewhere near one of those areas.
