FOR SALE: Custom build Remington 700 short action rifle built by Tim Arnold. Rifle has a blueprinted action and chambered in .260 Ackley Improved. 26" Bartlein 5R 1:9" twist stainless steel barrel with Tim Arnold design muzzle break. Oversize bolt handle is a Tim Arnold design as well. Badger Ordnance oversize recoil lug and 20MOA steel picatinney base. Remington trigger is adjusted to a crisp 2.5 lbs. Grayboe Renegade stock. Rifle also comes with 100 rds of 260 Rem Lapua brass that is already fire formed to 260AI, Redding reloading dies, various 6.5mm bullets, and CCI and Winchester primers. Brass is once fired (fire formed) except for 48 rounds, twice fired (fire formed and shot).
I am selling this rifle because I am setting up a 300 Win Mag. I figure the 300 will do everything the 260 does plus more.
