Hey all. As the title says, I'm looking to sell this Kentuckian rifle from Intercontinental Arms. It's marked .44 caliber, but the bore is actually 45. My understanding is that these can use the .451 round balls that .44 cap and ball revolvers do, and that's why they're marked 44. These rifles were made in Italy (and maybe later Spain) under a few different brand names and imported by various companies. They're all the same except that there are a couple different patch box designs that I've seen on them. The stock is in the Southern style, with a rounded comb and very curved butt.

The barrel on this one is marked Intercontinental Arms and also Salford Imports, as can be seen in the photos. It also has Italian proofmarks, Made in Italy, and Jager markings. The barrel length is 35.25 inches and overall length is 50 inches. Weight is 6.5 pounds, length of pull about 13 inches. Overall condition is good to very good. The bluing on the barrel is 95%+, though there are a few areas with minor scuffing and light pitting - one on the top facet near the muzzle and a couple on the side facets. The bluing is still fine in those areas despite this. The brass has a sort of antique finish and is in good shape. The lock is rust-free and works well - I haven't shot it, but it sparks nicely. The wood is also in good condition, with some minor scuffing and wear, but the finish seems entirely intact to me. The finish on the ramrod does not match the stock exactly and is worn in places, I'm assuming from use. I unfortunately couldn't get a good pic of the bore but it looks good to my eye - no pitting or rifling issues that I could see. I'm not sure what the rate of twist is on the rifling.

I'm asking $400 for this. Since this is a black powder gun, it does not require an FFL or transfer of any kind. Located in Las Vegas. I'd prefer FTF but may be willing to ship on the buyer's dime. This would make a good entry-level or first-time flintlock for anyone looking to get into traditional black powder. Thanks for looking!
