We met up with a widow over the weekend who is trying to sell a gorgeous oak gun cabinet that she has no use for. The guns have all been sold. We told her we'd try to find a buyer for her here on NS. The sale will be between you and her.
This is located in Boulder City and is upstairs so you'll need help to bring it down. The cab can be separated into two pieces for transport.
The cabinet has glass windows but they hung a black cloth behind it so guests wouldn't see all of their guns. The cloth is easily removed but it actually looks like smoked glass when it's closed. You can't tell from the pics but it's in great condition. You're seeing a lot of background reflection in the pic. And FYI, there's a Red Ryder BB gun sitting on the upper shelf (which isn't actually a shelf, it's got the half-moon cutouts to lean your guns against). That's why the shelf-rest looks kind of uneven.
Four drawers on the bottom. The cab and drawers have locks and she has the keys.
Looks like it's setup for a dozen rifles. Old school! Handguns and ammo in the drawers below (or your private alcohol stash).
Not exactly a 'gun safe' but a great way to display your rifles while keeping curious onlookers out. This may be good for a man-cave that has a solid locking entry door.
She's asking $300 for the cabinet. Says it was custom made for them at a HEFTY price years ago!
Shoot a PM and I'll send you her contact info. She's a super nice and extremely fair woman to deal with.
