USN - Commander US Naval Forces Japan.
Hand carved by Gregg Woodcraft Subic Bay, Philippines. 13x12.

USAF (1970’s) - USAF 79th Fighter Squadron (old style tiger head logo), stationed at Royal Air Force Upper Heyford base in England. Made by EH Cook in Yorkshire. 10 x7.

The 79 Fighter Squadron is one of the oldest in the US, being formed in 1918. The unit fought in WWII in Europe over Germany and Normandy, as well as in Desert Shield and Desert Storm.

RAF Upper Heyford was a british military base from 1918-1951, and a US base from 1951-1994.
