This Colt Python in 357 Mag revolver made in 1979 comes with original box Serial number V59199. One Colt Python has a bid for $2,800 on Gunbroker without the box (has buy now at 2900) and still has 2 days left on the bidding. The original boxes alone are going for $185.00
I am pricing mine at this time for $2650, to give someone on the board an opportunity to own a Classic Colt. I reserve the right to change the pricing.

I am trying to find the best Market price for the buyer as well for myself as seller.
I am lowering my price to $2,400.00 that is below the average.
I am now watching 4 other Colts that close bidding in a few days. Will then see what pricing I might do at that time.

Can you describe the finish in detail and also the mechanics (action, timing, lockup, endshake, etc). Thank you.

The overall finish in in good shape for a 30 year old Colt. A small spot of bluing wear on the right side at tip of barrel.
The Python received a complete timing from Custom Shop Inc., no end shake.
