New:
I have 3 boxes of s&b .300aac 124gr. "Tactical ammunition" (i dont believe it's subsonic)

I dont know the going rate for this as i bought it some time in 2019 i think, but if anybody insists on an asking price $50/box. Must pick up on east side.

I would PREFER to trade it for a couple boxes of .357mag JHP rounds for my "fancy" 686 that ive named "Grimy Rick"

on 3/8 you posted:
"Popped open an old ammo cache i forgot about and found a ton of .38spl ammo. Only problem is i dont have a lightning rod that pews these suckers anymore. Dont want to sell the ammo in the current climate so i was just hoping somebody might have an old holdout or desk gun theyre willing to part with.
I dont want anything fancy, just a working, reliable firearm in .38 or .357 is all.
Thanks for reading. -Lux

If you found a ton of .38 why don't you just give some to sis? Happy to see you found yourself a 38/357

Probably because ive shot through what i had.
You never shoot your guns bro?? I had 1200 rounds. About 400 of which were jhp +p by some company named HPR.
Yes i did find a gun. I also found a j frame for my wife and taught her to shoot it. Thats why i needed the gun, but ive gone through that. Getting her on board is how i finally convinced my sister to arm up. Wife and I shot over 400 rounds through her j frame the weekend we got it. Then another 4 or so boxes last weekend. I went out Yesterday after picking up the 686 and put a couple boxes through it.
I currently have maybe a hundred rounds of +p defensive ammo for my personal use and i was intending to give some to her for her actual "carry" rounds, but thats not exactly the best training ammo to put my 5'0 90lb sister on.
I bought two guns on credit cards after what happened with my truck. One was a 642 lady smith from Spurlocks in henderson and the other is a 686+ i got through a GIANT hassle with sportsmans warehouse. Ill be paying these off for the next year but whatever it was worth it.
None of this changes that i am trying to buy bullets...
Why am i having to defend myself or even explain this???

Its not like im reselling anything. Im asking for a couple boxes to shoot. You worried ill get rich flipping three boxes at a time on backpage? LoL

Great idea breaking in, and loosening up the lady smith. IMO, best training rounds for J-frame are lower velocity wadcutters. Good luck finding them unless you reload. The +P self defense ammo for a small woman isn't the best idea. Recoil is rough. Try to find the Hornady pink tips 38 spcl. Nice photography cowboy.

I agree on all counts. Times are a bit tough though and we cant be so picky unfortunately. I shoot what i can get.
