This is a brand new unit. I bought it as a combo with the 4 color ACE pro add on, but then decided to use the ACE unit on another printer. This single color (at a time) printer has NEVER been taken out of the box! The price from Anycubic on the printer is $229 plus tax, so you are saving a bit. For those that know about Anycubic printers, I have been using the Kobra 2 Max (less refined but bigger) with no issues, as well as the Kobra S1. I stole the ACE unit, which is an external acessory, from this unit to use on the S1. It still has the single spool holder of course.
I did say it's in the box, right? Well now the box is opened but this has never been removed from the box.
