Offering a nice GEW 98 Mauser 1916 dated by a rarer Manufacturer. This Mauser is missing the cleaning rod and capture screws, but all other parts are matching to include the stock. This was a vet bring back I assume as this was duffle cut and repaired. Stock retains original unsanded finish before the duffle cut, all marks and stamps on the stock are crisp. Metal has a nice even patina on blue areas and receiver is still in the white with spots of tarnish (no pits). The bore is clean with sharp lands and grooves. I personally have not shot this, I have though head space checked it with a field gauge and it didn’t close. Please ask for more pics if needed.
