I have a WW2 Springfield (Sept '44 mfg) receiver CMP Garand. I believe it was a service grade. Fantastic shooter, excellent original stock with rack paint and its in the original 30-06 caliber.

Please let me know if you'd like pictures of a specific area.

I've only shot it a few times, always with M1 specific ammo. I have about a dozen enbloc clips and a repro USGI sling for it around here somewhere. The *PING* gets more attention at the range than any of the tacticool EBRs :D.

I like the gun a lot but I'm not a collector, and it mostly sits in the safe. A medical emergency caused me to sell off my sporting clays gun a while back, so I'd be interested in trading for a Beretta or Browning O/U + cash or a nice Beretta semi auto 12ga with 28" barrel(s). Must be threaded for chokes.
