NDOC is trying hard to recruit me but they don't seem to get I'm not ok with PERS robbing my check and the Ely location. However this lady I have spoke to several times says within 2 weeks of testing, which is done the same day they plan to have me in the academy. This job isn't what I'm looking for, also the location while beautiful is too far from family and other obligations. However I figured I'd share the flyer I got in one of her 37 emails lol. It's recruitment 25047 on nvapps and they are taking anyone for ely state prison.

"I am not contacting you for Las Vegas, however I am letting you know that Ely State Prison located in Ely, Nevada has several correctional officer trainee positions available at this time. If you are interested in quick employment, please go to the Nevada Apps Website and pull up recruitment #25047 and download your application to that recruitment. You will be notified shortly after you apply.

Our next test date is July 29th and the great thing about Ely State Prison's hiring process is that we have you perform your physical agility testing, take the written test and interview on the same day. If everything goes well, we can have you employed within two weeks of processing.

If you have any questions, please contact Lisa Roberts at 775-289-1218. I have attached a flier for recruitment for your review.

Thank you and have a wonderful day!

Maybe You Need A Different Kind Of Job

Have you ever thought about working out of town? I work the oil fields of northern Alaska and live in Nevada. I travel to work, work 12 hours a day, 7 days a week for three weeks, and take three weeks off.

It called your hitch. A hitch can be 3 on 3 off, 4 on 2 off, 2 on 2 off, ect.

We oil field nomads stay in camps much like a barracks and get paid pretty well.

Does anyone know of anywhere hiring for $12/hr or more, in the Las Vegas Area? I also am looking for something that doesn't have a long hiring process as I am currently unemployed. Any possible leads are awesome and very helpful, thank you!
