I have a New in box Daniel Defense DDM4 V7S 11.5" AR15 upper,
and a SBM4 pistol brace (also new in box) for sale. Was planning to build an AR pistol but never got around to it, and need cash for other projects.

Is yours SBR or pistol ??
I was wondering how it would look finished.
Makes me want to keep them
That's a SBM4 pistol brace. Looking very good (balance) and is very comfortable.

Yes it’s a pistol. The DD V7S is awesome. Not sure about the gas port size but
it cycles smooth and recoil is on par with my other 14.5” BCM. I am running
a JP silent captured buffer spring though.

FYI: for anyone looking to buy the SBM4, the Phase5 pistol buffer tube is the one
you want to use. It’s slightly over size, SBM4 fits very snug and doesn’t move.
The BCM tube is slightly undersized and will need electrical tape wrap to snug it up.

As far as I know it is illegal to mount a vertical front grip on a pistol, you can mount a AFG on them but not a vert.

Wrong! Do some research on pistols 26” oal.
Totally legal, but it may not be considered a pistol.
AOW or firearm at that point,

If it isn't a pistol, how do you get around the barrel length issue?

AOW means a stamp. If it is not a pistol, you have the state to worry about, right?
