Why not buy one in .357/38special so you can afford to shoot it.Isnt 45/70 like $53 dollars a box.Im good with .357 magnum under $20 a box.I have a Henry in .357 and it has a smooth action and is easy to load.

.45/70 is incredibly economical to shoot if you reload.

I agree with you on that,reloading 45/70 would be worth it for sure especially once you had a stock pile of brass.

I have other guns but I always bring my lever action .357 along because it’s so fun to shoot.You should get one soon.Everyone enjoys shooting it because it’s so different from the guns they commonly shoot.It was one of the best gun purchases I have ever made.

No it’s not for sale but I think you would be happy with a lever in .357.The cost of ammo isn’t that bad and I prefer shooting .357 not 38specials in it.
