I was trying to distinguish the g3 from the g4 on this since the slide is custom, and gen4's say gen 4 on the slide and the backgrip has grooves on each side but since this is grip is stipled. How can you tell? I will edit the listing if its determined to be a gen3.

Gen 3 frame based on the magazine release and I would see the larger recoil assembly if it was a gen 4.
