Hi. Located in Golden Valley, Reno, NV

I'm literally never going to get to this because a buddy gave me a different vintage dirt bike. This was sold on here a while ago, I picked it up from the first buyer because he was never told the engine was seized. I freed up the engine, then broke the crank bolt, effectively trashing that engine. I then got my hands on a second parts bike, its about 60% complete, including an engine, but the head was off when I got it and I haven't touched that engine, or that bike, since. The second bike includes a title. I then picked up an engine that kicked easy and had good compression. I swapped that into the 1st, mostly complete bike, and thats where I stopped. I never got a battery or cleaned out the gas tank to try and fire it up.

Here's what I'm selling

- 1973 XL175, NO TITLE. 98% complete, all this is missing is the mirrors and turn signals. Has replacement engine mounted that has good compression, plus original broken crank engine (the kickstart shaft in that engine is worth like $300 alone). Has new petcock on fuel tank. Has aftermarket carb on it, original carb is included, but its in parts.

- 1974 XL175. Includes title. like 60% complete. No controls, no side panels, no exhaust, no seat, no carb. No rear turn signals.

I'm in it all about $350 at this juncture, I'll sell it all for $300. There's everything here to complete a cool old bike that would be worth a solid $1200-$1500 when running, I'm just never gonna get to it and I don't like seeing it.

I am so glad you are way far away. This is right up my alley and I do not need more projects. Good luck. Love those bikes.

I was down in Vegas last weekend, and was supposed to bring them to a buddy but he bailed. Lucky for you, I dont have any trips back down planned until like July.
