Your guess is as good as mine. Looks pretty dark so more like walnut than beechwood, IMO.

That is indeed a walnut stock and a nice one at that. Walnut stocked K31's are not common. Most that you see are either birch or beech wood.

I have a k31 and it is stupid accurate. The rifle is capable of fantastic results, much better than I am capable of. The 7.5 Swiss cartridge is very similar to our 308 in power. One of my most accurate rifles other than my Finn Mosins.
Somebody buy this.
