Some were questioning the price saying that it can be bought cheaper. This ammunition has not been sold in the U.S. for about 5-6 years. It came thru WalMart at $10:00 a box plus tax. I bought 200-300 rounds a week to get about 1300 rounds and have had it for a while. I am asking .45 cents a round for quality .308/7.62x51 ammunition and i think i am in line at a fair price.

Agree this is good stuff.

I bought some years ago, ran flawlessly.

FWIW, whenever someone says "it can be bought cheaper", ask for a link.

I don't think there is anywhere that one can buy new in boxes 762 NATO commercial (non-surplus) ammo for under 45 cents a round, once shipping, and often tax is figured in. Closer to 50 to 55 cents per round (so while OP's price ain't great, it IS good). The only brass ammo I can think that was cheaper than this was a couple of years ago a bunch of Malaysian 762 NATO Ball ammo was widely available. If I recall reviews were mixed at best.
Edit: just checked and this crap ammo is still available, with shipping, comes to about 45 cents per round.....

Would love to know where to buy clean, quality, commercial, recent production 762x51 NATO for less than 45 cents per round, shipped, if it does exist -

So those who PM'd the OP - go ahead and post up those links!

42.8 cents shipped a round if you buy 3 cans of the Malaysia surplus. I bought 6 cans. It is well kept and sealed in can. I have fired about 100+ rounds and no issues. You can get other surplus in the 44-46 cents per round but the best commercial brass I have seen is 50 cents.

ZQI is the manufacturer and I don't remember who was the importer. it has been a while. I just read all the reviews, bought some, shot it and it performed great, so I bought a lot more. I sold my Bushmaster BR10 and the buyer did not want the ammo so here it is.

I save it for the belt-fed. It's 3-4 times the group size of other surplus and commercial FMJ out of my battle rifles.

ZQi had a great reputation. Never tried any.

"Manufactured in Turkey to NATO specifications, this ball ammunition is ideal for ..."

Like Keith's rifle, I've been eyeing this ammo, but it is a long walk up that hill to the bar :) Are they still blasting up there?

Turkish ammo? I am not supporting the Moslems to further grow their arms industry. So I won't be buying any new ammo from them.

We've strayed quite a bit from clarifying what this ammo IS for the sale thread.

FWIW, the official religion of Malaysia is Islam.

Post up the forum members who were saying it can be bought cheaper.

Perhaps then they will provide links.

The Malaysian is crap. Just as I pointed out in my post you responded to.

ZQI is clean, brand new commercial production ammo.

Were YOU one of the ones PM'ing the OP and telling him his prices were too high?
