Wanted to start here and see if anyone is interested in adopting my pup. Picked him up from the shelter a little bit over a year ago and while he is a great dog things are not working out. Originally meant to be a dog for my girlfriend and I to share but we split up and I am traveling more for work.

He is a great dog and always gets compliments about how friendly he is. Essentially he is a 70lbs love bug. Great with people and children (my niece dresses him up and tries to ride him). Loves going for car rides and does great on a leash. If you want a dog to run with this is the dog for you. As an added bonus people will generally get out of the way when they see him coming. Pretty smart pup as it only take him two or three weeks to learn a new routine. Knows how to sit and come when called. Generally a quiet pup and doesnt bark a lot. Usually if he sees another dog is when he will bark.

Is up to date on all vaccinations along with the optional dog flu ones (both strains). Recently had blood work done and is in good health. Has also had a dental this year. Microchipped as well.

He has a slight allergy problem but it only flairs up a couple times a year.

Here is the only down side: He should be the only animal in the house for a while. He does not do well with other dogs or cats. Got him to stop charging at other animals while on a leash so he can be worked with to be broken of this behavior.

All of his water bowls, leashes, food, treats, medications (allergy & ear cleaning), and anything else that is his will come with him. Have a six day credit with a boarding facility that ill also try to transfer as well.

Feel free to shoot me a message to talk more or ask for my phone number to talk over a call. Ill be more than happy to arrange meetings so people can see him in person. Located in Las Vegas off of Jones and 215.

Good looking pooch. Keeping it topside. Have a couple of dogs or I would be interested. Good luck!

He has the same type pattern as my Hurkybutt, I’d take him in a hot minute if I didn’t bring in a new girl.

If his demeanor is anything like Hurks people your missing out on one Hell of a life companion. He’s the same and doesn’t like other dogs but as a family companion there is deep loyalty is the best way I could explain it.

Someone needs this guy !

Couldn't of said it better. This pup makes a great companion. What ever you want to do he is game for.

OH Man, he is one handsome dude. I wish I could take him no doubt he’s a big ball of love. If it comes down to it and you have to take him to a shelter contact me first, maybe I can foster him until he gets a home.

I’d also like to suggest you try AR15.com, you might try in General Discussion and in the Nevada hometown forum. There’s some big hearts over there and quite a few dogs have found good homes. I follow most of those types of threads and a few have been saved just a day before being euthanized. Some pretty amazing stories.

I hope you don’t mind me suggesting these, I’m just a big sucker and know what a blessing these dogs can be.

Appreciate the offer and the ideas. There is no way he is going back to the shelter. I couldn't live with myself for doing that and he deserves better. Dont mind the suggestions. More so since they are great ones. Thats a good call out with AR15.com. Larger audience. Ill wait out this week and then cross-post there as well.

Just wanted you to know I sent pictures to my sister last night and a friend I thought might be a great match and both said no. It saddens my heart that people think they are to busy to complicate they’re lives :( a little.

I sent off the pics to a few friends as well. As stated by many already he looks like an awesome companion and I'd love to have him if I wasn't already 4 deep.

Thanks for putting in the effort, appreciate it. Yeah for some folks animals are just not an option and I personally think pet ownership is on the decline.

Good luck! If we could have a dog where we're renting, he'd already have a new home.. :(
Thanks! Yeah I am now in the process of moving for work and its the same story there. Lots of apartments dont allow dogs.

Thank you for helping get the word out. So far Nevada Shooters have helped more than some of the rescues I reached out to.

I met this dog yesterday. He is super friendly, and wanted to go home with me. I already have dogs, though, so no can do. Someone needs this guy!
