No joke...I bought my 28/76 for not much more...albeit 10 years ago.

I see a 1941 date on receiver, but the sight appears to be of the M27, which I thought was produced only until 1940. The crossover M27/30 should have the same rear sight of the M39. But I'll see what more I can dig up on it. I've certainly not seen them all. The straight stock is also making me think it's a M27 or M27/30. Perhaps the former had some later production than I've seen.

Anybody else notice MAC turning more and more into NYCO with age? Just me??

It’s just a tikka M91. M27 is a completely different sight, barrel length, and m27 production stopped in 1938
