Selling or Looking to trade my 1976 Series 70 Colt 1911. My son will be starting with one of our local P.D.'s here in Southern Nevada soon and Id like to get his sidearm for him so Ive decided to part with this safe queen. Ive never fired it since acquiring it from an estate sale and made a post awhile back in in the NS 1911 forum asking for any help in where the grip work etc might have been done. Gun, 2 branded Colt mags, one unbranded mag, one Wilson Combat Mag, extra set of hard plastic hogue grips, barrel lug wrench, vintage Triple K mag case and nylon pistol case included. Included link to previous post. Would like $1000 or will trade for Glock 19x or Glock 45 MOS (preferably in new or newer shape with factory box and accessories). Meetup for transfer/sale in Pahrump or Ventura. we each pay our own fees if there's a trade. Thanks for looking.

Reached out to everyone. Spoke to Gunhand, unfortunately our schedules just aren't lining up to meet up. If no deal is made this week me and him will try again this weekend.

Sorry for not clarifying but yes. Its a wonderful weapon, beautiful and all but with cash short right now everywhere, I don't mind taking the loss. Ill be transferring the trade over to my son who just turned 21 is set to begin a career very soon with a local law enforcement agency. Knowing his pops provided him with his duty weapon is worth more to me than the loss.
