After selling my jeep and buying an F-150, I forget about the full size thing and scrape on things I wouldn't think about in the Jeep. The Ford is going to be built for speed though, not crawling over rocks. I just have to remember that sometimes :)

Yeah, most full size trucks I see are long travel pre-runner.

I have two 4runners, one of which has taken me places you wouldn't believe, but I see a second gen Taco in the near future for sure. TRD off-road edition, of course.
I believe it. We do some insane stuff in these nissans also, check out GoneMoab. I mostly like the HP and that it has the same boxed frame as the titan so we can use titan stock or aftermarket suspension components and have a strong long travel set up that can give about 4.5" of lift. The Titan front diff will fit also.

I have two friends up here who just finished their T-swapped Nissans: one has an Xterra with the Titan diff and 4.56's, the other a Frontier with the diff and 4.56's as well but she also added the ARB's front and rear. Makes me wish I would've known about that before I ended up with what I've got, really jealous of the t-swap setups, but I'll be building a D44/D60 combo to keep up with them again over the next year.

I haven't shown my vehicle in quite awhile in this thread. In process of wiring up a few of the LED light bars on the roof (twin 6" to the sides and a 20" forward), but otherwise she's as seen here. I didn't intend to wheel a Kia when I bought it, but it's served me well with 4.666 gears, LSD and a fully boxed frame. Has about 3.5" lift on the front IFS and the CV's haven't complained (well over a year on that setup), and as mentioned I'm building a set of real axles for it.

When you say she, are you refering to Jen?
I have never seen a built up Kia, nice!

We speak of the same She lol. Kia's are pretty damned rare, there are a handful of them being modded and wheeled like mine in the US and overseas. I'm never going to claim it's the best rig out there but it's done everything I've asked so far and I have no hesitations to follow a Jeep or Toyota of similar build anywhere.

mdashoot: I've gone on a handful of Frontier events with her (since there aren't really any Kia runs lol), I was invited by her for that Vegas run and just couldn't swing time off to make it down there. I was uber jealous of the photos she brought back.

A few of us hit a trail last sunday. Fun trail, one real rocky area where I banged my sliders pretty good. My rear driver tire must have been tucked to the max at one point and cought the fender so I had to do some trimming. I went up on my own then came down and guided the rest through the rock area.

My daily driver- '01 1500 off-road edition, moderately built 5.9L ... just replaced rear diff with a Yukon dura grip & 4.56 ring & pinion, new tires, shocks, ball joints, axle u-joints, hub bearings, drag link & tie rod, steering stabilizers... been a long agonizing process but this sumbitch is ready to rock now  uploadfromtaptalk1427024669052.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1427024736502.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1427024796795.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1427024893696.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1427024937524.jpg
