Crap. I ordered a smooth chrome shift knob for my truck. I'm probably screwed.

I wonder how many of the "tuner freedom!" crowd voted for big government: to control everyone ELSE, of course.

I could care less. Doesn't affect me!
Well I don’t own any guns with arm braces, I don’t own any guns with bump stocks, I don’t own anything with a ‘high capacity’ magazine. I don’t own anything that could be construed as an ‘assault weapon.

So, none of the recently enacted or pending laws have any affect on me. I’m still totally pro gun tho, just don’t care about those laws because they don’t matter to me.

Unless you are totally pro government control, it’s absurd To support any regulation that takes away from anybody’s freedom, wether you are part of that group or not. Freedom isn’t based on what you like.

I had a conversation with a pro gun rights person recently who was going on about how vaping needs to be banned. That’s not how this works! That’s not how any of this works.

My point was more about the idiots running around like they’re on a damn race track and being stupid. I guess most missed that.

They don't want to take away our guns, they just want to regulate them strictly for hunting, military, and law enforcement purposes because there's idiots running around like they're on a damn video game and being stupid. Most people are missing that..

I can say the same about the 2 wheeled throttle jockeys on Harleys & Crotch Rockets though, especially the idiots that for some reason think lane splitting is legal in Nevada. Does that mean we should ban those ?

I mean, if you have to constantly blip your throttle at the light, take your scoot to a real mechanic and get it fixed so it will run right :ROFLMAO::p:D

Wow. It's pretty odd to me that so many staunch supporters of the 2nd amendment and the right to bear arms never being infringed are totally cool infringing on other basic freedoms in day to day life.

I wonder how many of the "tuner freedom!" crowd voted for big government: to control everyone ELSE, of course.
Yup. But the same goes for "muh guns!" people supporting this crap. Seems like most people are only selectively pro freedom.

Hands off muh guns!

Ban Abortion

Never touch muh Guns!

Ban car mods (including literal off street racing vehicles, which arent the ones you get annoyed with driving on the street)

You ain't takin' muh Guns!

No gay marriage!

I said stay away from muh guns!

No legalized sex work!

I should be able to own every gun!

No weed!

Muh machine guns!

Yeah , and the same for those lifted vehicles , those should go bye bye too right ? Nothing over the stock height , and must maintain the stock wheel & tire size too right ?

Oh, and boats can't have anything over a trolling motor , nobody needs to go THAT fast on the water right ?

And maybe we should limit the size of the fuel tanks too , I mean there IS a fuel station on just about every corner , isn't 4 gallons of fuel enough for a days work ? ;)

See , the thing is , people keeping agreeing to let government decide what they allow you to have , and they do it willingly as long as it doesn't have any effect on them. And those people don't care that you are forced to give it up (surrender without reimbursement for its full value ) just because some Kens & Karens passed a law.

Loud exhaust will cause hearing loss and injury to others...I am still mostly deaf in my left ear due to a ruptured eardrum. Motorcycle.
I suppose folks shouldn't be responsible for their errant bullets cause 2A?

So somebody was riding a motorcycle next to your ear and it popped?

Also, one of my best friends killed himself with a pistol that I had sold to him a few years prior. I'm not supporting guns being regulated.

Blipped his throttle outside of my driver window and was off like a shot while my ear bled....cost a lot$$$, hurt a lot for a long time and still is very bad. But hey...he likes his loud cycle.

That sucks. Sorry that happened.

It doesnt change my opinion though. I have a feeling that doesnt happen very often. The percentage of bikes that can accomplish that, combined with the perfect circumstances in which it could actually happen to a person who was not willingly involved in the act of being directly adjacent to a super loud exhaust pipe (was was your case) do not represent a true public health threat.

pfffft....speed limits infringe on everybody's muh freedomz even more than limiting a vehicles ability to expose everyone in the vicinity to damaging levels of noise as a course of it's normal operation, every time it is operated.
