If you are looking for a second opinion (and you have some way to get it there) Billy (the owner) over at Transmission Service Center has proven to be very knowledgeable and honest and has turned me away from spending money more than once after spending a few minutes crawling under and looking at my rigs and telling me what I had been told was a transmission problem by other “automotive professionals” wasn’t and that he wasn’t gonna take my money when it wasn’t needed. If I ever do have an actual transmission problem, that is the only place I trust to do it right.

One more vote to try calling Billy at Transmission Service Center for a rebuild quote. He has done good work for me and seems reasonable.
