This rifle comes with three original documents (all in great condition) verifying its return from Saigon—along with a dedication plaque to the servicemember it was awarded to. No import marks anywhere, making this an even rarer and more desirable piece for serious collectors of war memorabilia.
While this K98 is not numbers-matching, it retains a wealth of original Waffenamt and German proof marks on the barrel, underside of the receiver, and additional components. The bore is dark with pitting, but still retains visible rifling.
