Have you seen the safety bulletin for the ruger 57? Apparently the safety can break and become useless for a certain batch of specific serial numbers. Here’s a link...

I have a Ruger 57 and figured this could be useful.

My serial number does fall in the range in the bulletin, however I have tested the safety using their guidelines and everything is functioning as it should
