At the risk of showing my inexperience with the forum, I see no such rule. Nor did I say the deal was off. I simply said I was no longer interested in the Nikon as partial trade due to me finding out I am getting a red dot as a gift. Instead of a counteroffer, you come to my post (which I had left pending for you) to try and make me look bad. If I am no longer interested in the trade would you have rather me not said anything till the day of or simply not show? It’s not like I said “I want a xxx too” or tried to squeeze more out of the deal. I’m just letting you know something came up and I can’t work with what we had come up with. Stuff happens and people get things on Christmas that they were looking for, If you can’t understand that and either move forward with the deal or leave it amicably then I can’t do anything about that.
That's why I merely put a post up, instead of leaving you negative feedback. Which, if you had read all the trading post rules, would be perfectly within my right to do so. I get that things come up and people change their mind, but this isn't craigslist. When you agree to a deal, follow through on it, or expect to get flak for it.

"Example or when to leave negative feedback:
Buyer and seller agree on a price and then either party backs out or stops communicating."
We had agreed to a deal. Look, it's not the end of the world. But this forum has higher standards on how transactions are conducted. Before you agree to make a deal, make SURE you're going to follow through on it first. Simple.
