Boy, I keep looking at this and I sure am tempted..
There is a good chance this post will disappear if I can save up for a new carry. I really love this gun I just need something practical for ccw. I was there already but got an AR instead as I wanted to get one while I could still find them at close to reasonable pricing

I didn’t change anything, I just said I’m not interested anymore due to new info. I was polite about it. Would you rather me have not said anything and stood you up?

I believe first gen because of straight decocker but not too sure.
I don't think yours is a 1st Gen. I believe first Gen didn't have rails. First Gen grips & frame says IMI (Israel Military Industries)...if I'm seeing it correctly, your grip says IWI (Israel Weapons Industries) after they changed company name... I believe yours is a IWI Jericho. This is mine, frame and original grip says IMI before I swapped out grip for current ones on it

Oh wow look at that guy. I guess that would be first gen. That thing is neat. I was going to hold out for a 941r when I originally got this but couldn’t find one for less then a grand

Doesn't matter if you were polite about it, that's not how this forum works. Once you agree to a deal, you don't back out. Read the forum rules.

At the risk of showing my inexperience with the forum, I see no such rule. Nor did I say the deal was off. I simply said I was no longer interested in the Nikon as partial trade due to me finding out I am getting a red dot as a gift. Instead of a counteroffer, you come to my post (which I had left pending for you) to try and make me look bad. If I am no longer interested in the trade would you have rather me not said anything till the day of or simply not show? It’s not like I said “I want a xxx too” or tried to squeeze more out of the deal. I’m just letting you know something came up and I can’t work with what we had come up with. Stuff happens and people get things on Christmas that they were looking for, If you can’t understand that and either move forward with the deal or leave it amicably then I can’t do anything about that.

That's why I merely put a post up, instead of leaving you negative feedback. Which, if you had read all the trading post rules, would be perfectly within my right to do so. I get that things come up and people change their mind, but this isn't craigslist. When you agree to a deal, follow through on it, or expect to get flak for it.

http://www.nevadashooters.com/threads/please-leave-feedback-for-all-sales-trades.144877/

"Example or when to leave negative feedback:
Buyer and seller agree on a price and then either party backs out or stops communicating."

We had agreed to a deal. Look, it's not the end of the world. But this forum has higher standards on how transactions are conducted. Before you agree to make a deal, make SURE you're going to follow through on it first. Simple.

If you had an agreement and you're "not interested anymore" that is the definition of change. I'd leave the negative if I was in Sam's position and he is being overly nice by not doing so.

Well a negative review isn’t going to make me part with something I worked hard to get for stuff I don’t need. I get that I’m “backing out of a deal” and if he wants to leave a bad review for that so be it. Seeing how off topic this thread got I’m just going to sage it and maybe stick to dealing with people I know.
