I've noticed some mention of private security in this thread. I've been looking to get into it, but I read you need 5 years experience to get your license. I'm currently doing a 6 year enlistment in the air force with 2 years to go, so I am not able to do anything full time. Does anyone have any advice or tips to help me get into it?

We need someone to develop a web application for our business. There will be a lot of hours initially to get it from nothing to production, and then some work for ongoing maintenance & changes.

MUST be local (Las Vegas) and be able to meet in the evening or on weekends for weekly progress updates, demonstrations and discussion.

Candidate must be strong with the LAMP platform and AJAX, and being experienced with the Joomla MVC model is a HUGE plus. We would really like to have this app integrated with our existing (Joomla) website, but can accept a stand-alone application if necessary. If stand-alone, the app must use a template system; preferably Smarty.

relatively straightforward PHP class extension. modify your config.xml with a reference to your new class as shown, and place the class with the example code in your module directory. the new code clears the html out of the cache that Magneto is using.

I have no experience in website design, code etc. I am working with a couple guys that are doing my SEO and they are helping with the website as a favor. Would this be something you could do for me? I believe I have access to everything needed to get into it.

For the Wynn, Im looking for an office coordinator (fancy title for secretary...) full time position, usually from 8 a to 4p. Tuesday to saturday. At time schedule may vary but ill say 95% of the time its what it is.
