NDOC is trying hard to recruit me but they don't seem to get I'm not ok with PERS robbing my check and the Ely location. However this lady I have spoke to several times says within 2 weeks of testing, which is done the same day they plan to have me in the academy. This job isn't what I'm looking for, also the location while beautiful is too far from family and other obligations. However I figured I'd share the flyer I got in one of her 37 emails lol. It's recruitment 25047 on nvapps and they are taking anyone for ely state prison.

My employer in NLV is looking for a good driver/demo guy. CDL or willing to get one within 90 days (company funded), clean driving record, background, drug screen....multi-tasker with some mechanical and minimal computer proficiency. Pay is $14+$18 Depending on Experience with benefits, 401K and Paid Time Off. If you have experience towing a dual axle utility trailer it is a plus. Great team of folks and a good company for someone willing to build a long term relationship. Looking to start the process by Friday...

Have you ever thought about working out of town? I work the oil fields of northern Alaska and live in Nevada. I travel to work, work 12 hours a day, 7 days a week for three weeks, and take three weeks off.
It called your hitch. A hitch can be 3 on 3 off, 4 on 2 off, 2 on 2 off, ect.
We oil field nomads stay in camps much like a barracks and get paid pretty well.
