Employment/Jobs - helping our members!

Hey all, hope this helps someone...

If anyone is interested in working armed security in a small locals casino, message me. I have a spot on swing shift, working from 3:30 to 11:30. CCW is required. My partner has a spot on his graveyard shift as well. Starting pay is $21 an hour. Not the greatest but not the worst either. Good common sense and customer service is a must.
Yo - any deets for my network?

The Little A’Le’Inn wants YOU! (Crew Members Needed)
Ladies, Gentlemen, Earthlings, and Aliens, we need crew members!

The Little A’Le’Inn in Rachel, NV is hiring! Travelers and such are welcome to apply. Seasonal or long-term positions are available.

✪ Restaurant or bartending experience is not necessary. ✪ We are more than willing to train anyone and everyone who is interested in becoming part of our crew. We are in need of crew members who are outgoing and fun whilst maintaining responsibility. This is an opportunity that only comes once in a lifetime for the right dependable, reliable, hard-working individuals who may be looking for an experience unlike any other on the planet while being able to appreciate our beautiful desert the way we do.

The Details:

Pay: Steady work starting at $12.00 an hour. (Plus pretty decent tips for pretty decent guest service) (There are opportunities to make more money for those who learn what we do and stick around long enough to do it for a while).
Housing: Very affordable employee housing is available but limited. The first month is free, and then it’s $200/month for a private bedroom in a furnished single-wide mobile home. Note: Applicants with portable housing (RVs, full campers and such) are especially encouraged to apply!
Transportation: All applicants MUST have their own transportation and be able to get themselves to Rachel under their own power. If you do not have your own means of transportation, you must acquire transportation to be qualified.
The Role: We are currently seeking General Staff/Crew Members. We do not have job titles; everyone here does a little bit of everything:

Tending the bar
Taking guests’ orders and running food
Processing guests as they check in and out of lodging
Keeping the gift shop stocked and processing new inventory
Preparing meal orders following our recipes and methods
Kitchen prep & Cleaning
✪ No matter what ✪ We need all of our crew members to be able to come to work on time, be consistently reliable and responsible, and be friendly with our guests. Above all, we just need people who will be present and accounted for, ready to work with some kind of positive attitude.

If you are ready to join the crew, check out our interactive application here:https://littlealeinn.com/job-information/

Looking for Work - any leads? (ME TOO!)

OK so I saw Sideforce post a "Looking for Work" Thread so I figured I would too.

My experience is in CAD design and CAD/IT management (Computer Aided Design/Information Technologies) this equals about 19 years of experience. The experience lies mainly in Civil Engineering Design but I have also worked in Architectural, and Mechanical Engineering firms.

I have a Technical Degree in Architectural Engineering Design, and a Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering design.

Right now I am looking for ANYTHING as I have been out of work now for way too long!! The industry in which I have experience in has all but tanked and I am more than willing to change careers. I am looking for any job that will pay me at least 30K a year ($15 an hour) which is taking a pay cut of more than 50% of my previous pay...

My hope is to find something in Engineering or if I need to change, something in Law Enforcement or Armed Security as I believe I would do well in those fields.

Thanks, ANY leads or help getting a "foot in the door" somewhere would be greatly appreciated!
EDIT: accidental reply rather than DM
