Passing this erector set forward to someone who has a child that would enjoy playing with this. It should be sparking imagination, not sitting on my shelf in the garage. This is a vintage set and the motor does work. I’ll take it rules apply

Now that is just cool as hell! Would love to have that for my shop! But you're looking for a kid to give it to, and I'm 500 miles away...

Geez I remember that set. That has to be around 1967 or 1968. Great memories.
It helped me to become a damned good mechanic later on in the military.

This scooter was running when I parked it in the back yard several years ago. It was reliable when it was ridden on a regular basis. I'm quite certain it will need the carb redone again, and probably another new battery. Looks like someone bumped into a turn signal. Those are cheap.

It's a 49cc, and has never been registered but I have the Cert of Origin used to get a NV title and registration if someone actually wanted to do that. I did find the key.

Located way up East Charleston. Text me at 702-578-0552.

Free to a good home anyone who claims it. You could probably part it out and make a few hundred on it, if you knew what you were doing. No, I didn't wash it. Bite me.

While I'm cleaning, it's time to get rid of all the skiing gear from the boating days: two wakeboards, kneeboard, and lots of life vests, kids and adults sizes. Looks like the kneeboard needs a new belt. skis.jpg

Mac, I might take the scooter for the grandson to thrash around the neighborhood. I’ll text you later this morning.

If you get it order a replacement carb for it online. This year I replaced carbs on all my stuff instead of messing with rebuilding n cleaning. I was able to find for quads chain saws rototillers post augers and all were around $20. Some even came with spark plugs lol.......ebay n amazon....

I think I rebuilt my first Quadrajet at age 16, by 18 I was rebuilding them for all of my high school buddies, throw in a few Carter AFB’s, Holley Double pumpers with that, 40 years later I’m still pretty good. I’ll probably give this a try at rebuilding, buy a new battery and let the boy have at it.

If it can’t be rebuilt where do you source them ? Amazon is not an option I just deleted my account...no more chinesem, late ,delivered to the wrong address of cancelled orders from them.

Mostly ebay but some off amazon. I just search the the item brand and engine size example xyz scooter carb 50cc and make sure it is shipping from us supplier. Text me if you need ne to order for you and meet up....maybe you'll have something I want to buy lol...Also they usually come with new fuel line filter sometimes air filter and plug so if you factor all that in its not worth messing with it honestly.

I thought the NRA only dressed in Armani suits? But I hear they save the shipping charges by picking them up in person.
