I agree with most of your comments. Need clarification on one. If I notice something that don't belong in the picture, such as a 1911 idiot scratch, asking if it is a dog hair, or scratch is a violation? The best way to avoid a ban is to say nothing? Or, just the opposant, friends of the OP praising the product like it was a gift from God? You have a difficult job. Thank you for doing what you do.
Questions or comments about an item for sale should be made via a PM to the ad OP, not put in a reply in the ad.
IF the ad OP feels that others may ask the same question , then they should put their answer to the the question in the original post that created the ad, by editing that original post , NOT in a reply post, which is what some folks do, thereby bumping the ad in less than 24 hours without appearing to bump it, since any new reply post in an ad brings it to the top of the list in that trading post section.
Since no one sees the question being answered because it was in a PM, we have had some members use these answer posts for an early bump, saying "ad update" in the reply post along with the answer to a question they were supposedly asked via a PM.
