Hey Matt & Josh
Just "Thank You" For letting me pick up the .223 Ammo Yesterday. Now all I need is for the wind to stop so I can shoot it.
I expect all to go well so I can buy more and get you some more Pahrump customers.

Hi Bob:
You know Pahrump.
8:00 this morning wind at my house, went to smiths and not a breeze but they frown on me shooting in their parking lot.

Our pleasure and God I hate the wind as well, thanks for purchase.....All ammo in supply is now in Vegas for distribution till after 25th...After that we will be able to see out of plant. It's not so much keeping a low profile but for security reasons as there is usually only one or two people there and we don't have the best security system in place yet. Once we do have more secure facility we can keep more ammo there and do more sales out of the plant. Thanks again, Matt

Purchased 1000 rounds of .223 from Matt today. He was right on time to the minute. Very nice guy and very easy transaction. He explained the reloading process and how they use CCI primers and Extreme bullets. I didn't even bother opening the boxes for inspection as he told me if there are any issues just let him know and I could tell he was a good guy. So I got home and opened up one of the boxes. The brass is highly polished and the bullets are at the correct depth. No unwanted debris in the box. Just nice looking clean ammo (my experience from another re loader up North was not the same) I haven't shot it and probably won't for at least a week or two. I'll update my post at this time however I don't expect any issues. I priced out ammo online and I could have got the same thing shipped to me for the same price but I like doing business locally and face to face whenever possible. He could have opened up anywhere but he chose here so I think if the ammo is good that we should support him.

Here are some pics of the boxing and ammo itself. Thanks Matt!

Rich, wow...what a way to end the day... thank you for taking the time to post these pics...for the nice things you said...being on time works both ways so thank you as well. Great pics...you don't mind if I use them do you?
All of you guys and moderators have been great from the beginning. You gave us the benefit of the doubt and enough rope to hang ourselves....Marketing to shooters is a whole lot riskier than to just guys who buy to store their ammo. God, I can't tell you how much the feedback mean to usl...especially compliments. We're also open to any constructive critiques or ANY issues you might have or suggestions. Soon we will be making New Brass/5.56/62gr.FMJ and will be testing the market with 5,000 rounds of 5.56/HP/79gr. We're doing our best to add 40 caliber next, and by year end...308 and the 300 black out. We are working on a deal for 22LR...keeping our fingers crossed. I'm looking forward to a day when we can sponsor a shoot to raise money for a great local cause and get together with you all, some friendly competition, some great food and camaraderie. Thank you again, Matt

If you're making it here in Nye, look for local causes here. Don't just use the cheaper tax base!

You're absolutely right and here's what I was thinking and I could use some help with this: Kids with no dads that want to learn how to shoot like Big Brothers/Big Sisters. Kids who's Military parent was wounded or KIA. Local Boy Scout Troups fund raiser. Police/Fire Dept kids/scholership? I'd like to organize a shoot/competition/drawing for cool gifts/lunch and entry fee money goes to worth cause. Just a thought for now...open to ideas and help. Matt

Ok, we're interested in how the 5.56 HP with heavier projectile sells/demand...doing some research. We will for sure be doing the 300 black out and 308. I'm looking to get the 308 myself. We will send out release when this happens.

When you say you'll be making 5.56 in the 62gr FMJ variety, are these going to match M855 specs?

Please forgive but I'm the sales/marketing guy here...I'm just sharing some ideas/calibers that we're considering making. We will be making New 5.56...We're not sure yet what grain. I like the 62 grain, Nato FMJ myself but I sure would like to have a high quality HP in the heavier grain for small game, coyotes, and Zombies. If you have some suggestions or links to some comments on the subject, we'd be open to seeing what you come up with. Thanks for comments. Owner is now in Louisiana and won't be back till the 25th so I'm limited to what specifics I can answer. We would like your opinion of what would sell better in the HP/5.56..maybe I'll post this question in appropriate place on this site as well.

I've been loading 300 Blackout but if someone were to produce it for a reasonable price I wouldn't mind buying it. Feeding an AR with my turret press is a losing battle.

Now your talking! I am in no need for 22lr but I am always looking for them at a decent price. I also like your ideas about shoots for the less fortunate. Lots of good people here In Pahrump in need of good businesses like yours.

Dusty,

I agree, but we could use input here. Lots of disadvantaged, but I don't know of any certain entity or organization that could coordinate it.

Being Pahrump, every faction would think they are the only important ones. And we don't have a Boys/Girls Club, or one for children of Vets that I know of.

As far as veterans, the Walmart wall of honor show a lot, but I wouldn't know where to gather any info regarding children, other than contacting Walmart.

I'm going to speak to some business owners, church leaders, business license people and/or fire dept for ideas of what community needs. Where there/s a will...there's a way. Keep your ear to the ground....and let me know if you come up with anything.

We're not ready yet to do anything but I'm going to contact some groups in Pahrump, Vegas, Henderson and BC. There's two good ranges in BC, the Range in NW Las Vegas and I'm sure Pahrump has an outdoor range. This will give us 4 places to hold events.

Pahrump has Lone Wolf shooting range, a private membership range. It is also used by local instructors for CCW classes, including Chuck Burnett, one of our members.

Chuck would also be a good contact to help you develop some sort of event. Chuck gives classes in CCW, specialized gun courses, self defense, as well as first aid and survival. He is the owner of Invictus Training in L.V.

It would be a good venue for something like that. For more info, contact Debra at Strickland Construction.

The only other place to shoot here is at the BLM spot off of Bell Vista, affectionately known as The Rambo Range. Not the best environment for an event designed for kids.
